As the Home Manager at Westhill Park, it is my responsibility to ensure that my team and I deliver the highest standards of care to all of our residents all of the time. I have worked within various care settings, giving me knowledge & insight into different customer groups and the outcomes they are aimed towards. I am committed & passionate about ensuring the support delivered to ensure the safety and quality of life of our residents is of the highest standard. My many years of working within healthcare has helped me understand the importance of nutrition and whole dining experience. I was delighted when the owners of home, as part of the recruitment process, asked me to prepare a full range of meals. It is this attention to detail that attracted me to the role to head up one of the most important aspects of life at our home. Mealtimes should be looked forward to and the food savoured and it is my role to make sure this happens every day.
In order to attract the right people, we spend a lot of time making sure we recruit like minded individuals. Our search for our colleagues to join our team at Westhill Park started back in the Summer of 2018. A rigorous process allowed us to review and select a core team from over 600 applicants. All of our colleagues were required to complete our unique in depth training to reach our high standards and to become part of a team we are proud of.
