Senior Care Assistant at Timken Grange braves the shave, raising £500 for the Alzheimer’s Society
Timken’s Senior Care Assistant, Joy, braved the shave this week at the home to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. Joy was cheered on by residents and her fellow colleagues as she bravely had her hair shaved by Lifestyle Manager, Daniel Worley, in a live feed on Facebook.
Residents’ friends and families, loved ones and colleagues, commented to show their support for Joy, who took on the challenge to raise as much money as possible to support the charity and their fight against dementia.
Joy, who has so far raised an impressive £500, reaching her target amount said, “I would like to thank everyone for their donations and to thank Daniel for cutting my hair for me.”
