Marvelous Museum Outings
What better way to spend a gent’s day out, then exploring Museums full off wonderful artefacts? Our residents recently visited two different local Museums, one in Wellingborough and one in Towcester. Wellingborough’s Museum covers early history to Victorian times and World War One, whilst Towcester Museum provides lots of historical information for the Towcester district.
Museums are great for mental stimulation, so it was wonderful to see our residents keeping their minds active by chatting to one another about their knowledge of history and the different artefacts on display. They even posed for a picture with some swords and shields!
Of course, no trips out are complete without a cup of tea and cake, so our residents enjoyed a bit of relaxation in the Museums’ Cafés before heading home. Two fun filled afternoons for the gents!
