Home Admissions Advisor
My role here at Timken Grange is to offer support, advice, guidance & make sure that our residents and their families are not overwhelmed through the decision process of moving into our home. I am a friendly face that can offer emotional understanding & assistance with the more formal administrative process, as it can be daunting when moving from a place where someone has been settled & created memories to a brand new home.
As head of the Lifestyle Team it is my role to ensure that all of our residents’ needs and requirements are catered for. We run a comprehensive and diverse range of activities to suit their individual abilities and aspirations. This brings a lot of fun and shared learning not only for all the residents but often to myself and my team, who are always learning new ways to stimulate and fulfill our residents’ time with us.
Business Support Manager
I am keen to make sure all the residents’ and family feel welcomed and valued. Having the ability to engage and participate in the residents’ everyday life makes my role extremely fulfilling. Timken Grange provides a safe and friendly environment for all, which I embrace every day.
I work in the finance department at Oakdale Care Group. My understanding of the various financial systems, accountancy and general knowledge of the care sector means I can add to Oakdale and its finance team. I personally enjoy being in the homes with the residents and their families which is at the heart of the business.
My role as Medication Manager is ensuring that we are compliant, safe and effective in managing, administering, storing and recording all medication tasks within our home. I take the lead in all areas of medication and I support, train, and oversee the senior team, ensuring they are competent and compliant with regular supervision and auditing. As the Medication Manager, I work closely with lots of other departments in our home and also work with our residents and their families on their medication.
I work in the Marketing Department at Oakdale Care Group. My marketing knowledge and understanding means I can add to Oakdale and its marketing team. I was attracted by Oakdale’s ethos which is evident throughout the group.
