Home Manager

As Home Manager I am in charge of the quality of care we deliver. I am proud to be responsible for everything that I and my team do. Managing Layston Grove is both challenging and rewarding as I have to ensure our high standards are met and we deliver our promise of providing the best care, every day to every one.

Jason Bailey

Catering and Hospitality Manager

I have been a chef for over 30 years. I’ve worked in the care industry for 10 years and previously in Hotels and 5 star restaurants. I manage a wonderful team of 5 and together we organise special events such as pop up restaurants for residents and their families.

Janet Chapman

Front of House Manager

I have worked in an administrative role for 13 years within the care industry. I love the challenges of my role as Front of House Manager here at Layston Grove as it is so varied. I welcome all the residents and their families so I get to know them well and try to help wherever I can.

Michelle Cavill

Lifestyle Manager

I am very passionate about getting the most out of everyday life whatever that might be. I love organising activities and encouraging all the residents to get involved. I can see what an impact it makes on their quality of life and how much more improved their outlook is if they have been busy. I have worked in the care industry for many years and still love what I do.

Home Admissions Advisor

My role is to provide in-depth information about the care, services and facilities Layston provides. This can be an overwhelming and daunting time for both residents and their families. I will make this process as stress free as possible, by helping you complete your journey from the beginning, right the way through to move in day and starting your new chapter.

Kathleen McMillan

Deputy Manager

I have worked in adult health and social care for 13 years. Before I joined Layston Grove, I was a matron in a residential care home in Cheltenham but relocated to Hertfordshire where I started as a senior carer and have now taken on the role of Deputy Manger. It is a very rewarding job and I thoroughly enjoy getting to know the residents and their families.
