Meet our fabulous team of kind, dedicated, and passionate staff who have been specially selected and trained to provide the very best care with compassion, warmth and respect.
I join the Kingfisher team at a very exciting time and look forward to applying my 30 years of experience working in and managing care homes in Nottinghamshire. As a local lad, originally from Hucknall, I know the area well which will enable me to drive the quality and service forward. Along with my amazing team, I plan to re-establish Kingfisher as a leading provider of excellent care, enabling each resident to live an empowered and fulfilled life. As the Home Manager of Kingfisher my door will always be open and I look forward to seeing you soon.
Business Support Manager
I began my journey at Oakdale as the Front of House Manager, where I developed skills and created rewarding relationships with residents, relatives and staff. I find my role extremely fulfilling as I can engage in the residents’ wellbeing, whilst being able to accomplish my own role to a high standard.
I have worked in care for a number of years and have developed many skills and qualities that allow me to complete my job to a very high standard. I believe every resident should receive a high standard of care so we can be certain they are happy, safe and valued.
I have spent many years within the care sector, ranging from hospital wards, to surgical theatre, the community and residential/dementia settings. Within this time, it has become apparent to me that the quality of care an individual receives directly impacts their quality of life. My aim is to ensure that the quality of care is exceptional thus ensuring an exceptional quality of life in the latter years of your loved ones.
Head of Care and Compliance
I believe that a respectful close relationship can bring joy to everyone involved. I’ve worked in care for a number of years and I can’t think of a more rewarding job. The high standards of training provided has been excellent and as a result, I especially enjoy working at Kingfisher Court.
Front of House Manager
I am very proud to be part of the team here at Kingfisher Court. My role as Front of House Manager varies from day to day but ensuring all residents and visitors feel welcomed remains a priority. Having the ability to be able to engage in our residents’ everyday lives is extremely rewarding and makes my role very fulfilling. I am committed and passionate about my role and I will always do my best to help in any way I can.
What our staff say:
