All-inclusive living at Kingfisher Court

Peace of mind with our All-Inclusive Living

We understand when you move into a new home you want certainty and  security. From our experience, “billable extras” that you were not expecting or had not budgeted for are an unnecessary irritation, so we don’t have any, just one fixed fee!

This fixed fee makes living with us easy. You can enjoy that glass of wine or beer with your meal, embrace the pampering and regular hair treatments in the salon or take a trip out of the home with the Lifestyle team, all of this is included.

*please see below for exclusion terms on toiletries and continence aids

Facilities designed for comfort and security, whatever your needs

  • Dentist

All residents will receive a dentist appointment (where necessary) from our local dentist. Your appointment will be organised for you. NB. New dentures, crowns, implants or repairs are not included in the weekly fee.

Toiletries can be very personal and preferences vary, therefore we ask you to provide your own. We would never see someone go without if they ran out of basics, however we can't promise to have your preferred items available so do recommend topping up regularly.

  • Continence aids

If you require pads as a result of a medical need and have a prescription, we will ensure these are available to you at all times and included in your weekly fees. If you don't have a medical need and would like pads to help you feel more at ease and reassured, these will need to be supplied and paid for by you, they are not covered in your weekly fee.

  • Housekeeping

Our housekeeping team will attend to your room and ensure it is cleaned on a daily basis. We will also change your bed linen and deep clean your room regularly.

  • Laundry

All your personal items will be labelled by the housekeeping team and laundered on a regular basis. The team will also provide you with fresh towels and bedding, which will also be laundered in the home.

  • Dry Cleaning

Where certain items are required for that special occasion, we will arrange for your personal clothing to be dry cleaned. These will be items that recommend dry cleaning only.

  • WIFI / Internet

All residents can enjoy complimentary wifi.

  • Newspapers

If you would like your own newspaper this will be provided. However, the home will provide a choice of national and local papers for everyone on a daily basis.

You can expect 3 delicious meals a day, (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) mid-morning snacks, afternoon tea and other refreshments (including alcohol) are available. We will also accommodate meals, drinks and snacks at no extra cost for your visitors who may wish to join you for a spot of lunch or just a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake.

  • Chauffeur Driven Car

Use of the home’s car to take you to appointments, events and outings. A diary system is managed in the home so residents are encouraged to plan their request of the car in advance where possible.

  • Hair and beauty salon

A regular appointment with our hairdresser can be made for you and is included in your fee. In addition to this there are regular pampering sessions, to include nail and beauty treatments, and again you have no need to worry about the costs because these are included.

All residents’ rooms are fully furnished with private en-suite facilities and include a large TV, DVD player and mini fridge.

  • Weekly Activities Schedule

A robust activity plan designed and planned with our residents’ input, incorporating their needs and choices. Our Lifestyle Manager and team will be the leaders and point of contact for any suggestions to support the engagement.

  • Outings and day trips

As part of the Lifestyle team activity programme, they will provide opportunities to leave the home for an external outing and these are all included in the weekly fee. This could be anything from a trip to a local stately home to a day at the seaside.

  • Private dining

We welcome friends and family to join you in the home so if they would like to dine with you on occasion they are very welcome to do so. If you would like to hold a private party in the home, there would be a small fee payable for catering (when 5 people or more)
