At Oakdale Care Group we understand that when you move into a new home you want certainty and security. From our experience, “billable extras” that you were not expecting or had not budgeted for are an unnecessary irritation; so at Oakdale we don’t have any! Everything is included in your fee.

We provide a transparent all-inclusive policy*, with no hidden extras. Just another way the Oakdale Care Group is leading the way in elderly care.

All of our services highlighted are covered in the fixed weekly fee.  This fixed fee makes living with us easy: so enjoy that glass of wine or beer with your meal, embrace some pampering and regular hair treatments in the salon or take a trip out of the home with the Lifestyle team, all of this is included.

Our home chauffeur service aims to reduce any concern for you and your family around getting you to and from medical appointments* Our staff will escort you to the GP or local hospital when required, no matter how long that appointment may take.  Our dedicated Lifestyle Team run a comprehensive programme of activities that reflect our clients’ abilities and aspirations and operate 7 days a week – so no rest at the weekend…unless you want it!

  • 24 Hour Care

    Qualified and Trained staff are in the home 24/7 to ensure safety and security of the residents, delivering care specific to individual needs through our robust pre assessment and person centred care planning.

  • Private room with En Suite Facilities

    All residents’ rooms are private with their own en suite facilities, including TV and DVD player, Fridge and fully furnished.

  • Activities 7 days a week

    A robust activity plan designed and planned with our residents input, incorporating their needs and choices. Our Lifestyle Manager and team will be the leaders and point of contact for any suggestions to support the engagement. Our activity plan is developed around Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Group and One-to-One engagement.

  • Dining Experience

    Our Kitchen team provide all your food and beverage requirements for a balanced and healthy diet. As well as your 3 meals a day, (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) mid morning snacks, afternoon tea and other refreshments are all available 24/7 and this includes your visitors who pop in for a cup of tea, a slice of cake and a chat. The team will also provide additional support for those who require specific meals and choices. And the best part is a glass of wine or beer to wash it down.

  • Housekeeping

    Our housekeeping team will attend to your room and ensure it is cleaned on a daily basis. We will also change your bed linen and deep clean your room regularly.

  • Laundry

    All your personal items will be labelled by the housekeeping team and laundered on a regular basis. The team will also provide you with fresh towels and bedding, which will also be laundered In the home.

  • Chauffeur Driven Car

    Use of the home’s car to take you to appointments, events and outings.

  • Dry Cleaning

    Where certain items are required for that special occasion, we will arrange for your personal clothing to be dry cleaned. These will be items that recommend dry cleaning only.

  • Communal Lounges/Areas

    There are a selection of lounge spaces and dining rooms on each floor. In addition you will be able to enjoy the cinema, library, tea room, garden room, views from the balconies or simply rest in a quiet lounge of your choice.

  • Cinema

    Our cinema room is great for catching up on your favourite programme or just relaxing with a film. The room is multi purpose and can easily be converted to a games room or other communal use. We can also arrange to set up the screen for Skype calls with loved ones.

  • Hair & Beauty Salon

    A weekly or other regular appointment with our hairdresser can be made for you which are included in our fees. In addition to this there is regular pampering to include nail and beauty treatments.

  • Chiropody

    Our carefully selected professional Chiropodist will attend the home on a regular basis and any residents requiring the services will be included to have an appointment.

  • Opticians

    All residents will receive an eye test (where necessary) from our preferred, qualified opticians who will visit the home. NB: New spectacles/contact lenses or repairs are not included in the weekly fee.

  • Welcome pack

    A basket of items to make your move smoother and enjoyable. This is likely to include toiletries and other nice surprises we feel you would enjoy.

  • Celebration Items

    Little things that will help you to celebrate and entertain friends and family such as Birthday Cakes, balloons, etc.

  • Wifi / Internet

    All residents can enjoy complimentary wifi.

  • Dentist

    All residents will receive a dentist appointment (where necessary) from our local dentist. Your appointment will be organised for you. NB. New dentures, crowns, implants or repairs are not included in the weekly fee.

  • Landscaped Gardens

    Gardens are landscaped and designed to be accessible for all with flat even surfaces and raised beds to promote independence and somewhere to sit and watch the world go by. Our garden areas have been thoughtfully planned to encourage you to enjoy the outdoors.

  • Tea Room

    Our specially designed English Tea Room is the hub of the home. A great place to socialise along with an area we hold our special events and activities.

  • Newspapers

    If you would like your own newspaper this will be provided, however; the home will have a choice of national and local papers for everyone on a daily basis.

  • GP Registration

    You will be registered with our friendly GP who will visit the home on a regular basis and conduct a mobile surgery for those unable to attend the main surgery. The GP will manage all your health needs with the Home team including all referrals that may be required.

  • Medication

    All resident medication will be managed, ordered, stored, distributed by the trained medication team using the most up to date Boots eMeds medication management system.

  • Hospital/Medical Appointments

    For occasions when family members or loved ones are unable to escort and take you to a hospital/Medical appointment, a member of Oakdale Care Group will escort you in our own car and remain with you throughout the duration of your visit.

  • Private Dining

    Invite your friends and family to join and help you celebrate those special occasions. Subject to numbers and availability.
